When I wrote The Pitcher’s Handbook, my goal was never simply to publish a book. My goal was to create a resource that would help young pitchers develop safely, build confidence, and reach their potential.
As a former pitcher whose career was shortened by shoulder injuries, and now as a coach and educator, I’ve seen firsthand how many players struggle because they lack a clear development plan. Too often, they’re chasing velocity or playing year-round without understanding mechanics, arm care, recovery, or how to build consistent routines.
That’s why I wrote this book.
The response so far has been incredibly encouraging. I’ve received awesome feedback from coaches, parents, and players who have shared how much the book has helped them organize their training and practices, better understand pitching development, and approach the game with more confidence.
